1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CPDTracks website or web application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CPDTracks is a Continuing Professional Development planning, recording and reflection service. It includes a SAICA-focused journey and a General CPD journey for professionals working under other requirements.

3. Changes to the service

CPDTracks is under active development. Features, presentation and availability may change as the service is improved. Please report problems, keep your own source evidence, and do not rely on CPDTracks as the sole copy of records you are legally or professionally required to retain.

4. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the CPD data you enter
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account, password and signed-in devices
• You must comply with all applicable laws and professional regulations
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or attempt to access another user's records
• You must not access the Service primarily to copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer or commercially benchmark its protected product design, content or workflows

5. Disclaimer

CPDTracks is a tracking and management tool. It does not provide professional, legal, or accounting advice. While we strive to accurately reflect SAICA, SARS, and IRBA requirements, you are ultimately responsible for ensuring your CPD compliance. We recommend consulting your professional body's official guidelines.

CPDTracks is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to SAICA, SARS, or IRBA.

6. Subscriptions & Paid Access

CPDTracks is a single paid membership. Current pricing is shown before purchase, and your subscription is sold and billed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, which handles VAT and sales tax and issues your invoice.

• Subscription purchase, billing, renewal and cancellation are handled through Paddle under the terms shown at checkout.
• Access is verified using the email address on your CPDTracks account. If you subscribe with a different email, contact support.
• You can cancel renewal at any time from your account. Your membership stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Except where applicable law requires otherwise, subscriptions are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, we may consider a discretionary refund where account records show that the Service has not been used. The full conditions are in our Refund Policy.
• If your membership lapses, hosted files and prior-year records may be retained temporarily before deletion, as described in the Service and Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, icons, and branding in CPDTracks are the property of DAD The Accountant. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

CPDTracks is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to missed deadlines, incorrect hour calculations, or data loss.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of CPDTracks is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described there.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cayman Islands courts.
