Refund Policy
CPDTracks is an annual digital subscription sold and billed by Paddle, our merchant of record. This policy explains cancellations and how refund requests are considered.
1. General policy
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, CPDTracks subscriptions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Cancelling a subscription prevents its next renewal but does not refund the current subscription period.
2. Exceptional discretionary requests
We may consider a discretionary refund in exceptional circumstances where account records show that CPDTracks has not been used. A request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved, and one discretionary refund does not create an obligation to approve another.
When reviewing whether the service has been used, we may consider limited account and product-use information, including:
- Account access dates and active days
- Whether a reflective learning plan or reflection was started or completed
- Whether CPD activities were created
- Whether evidence was linked or uploaded
- Whether a report or backup was exported, or a backup was restored
These indicators support a human decision; they do not disclose the contents of a member's plans, activities, reflections or uploaded files. Creating records or using a value-bearing feature will normally mean that a discretionary refund is not appropriate.
3. Problems and incorrect charges
Please contact us promptly if you cannot access the service because of a persistent technical problem, believe the service was materially different from its description, or see a duplicate or incorrect charge. We will investigate and work with Paddle on the appropriate resolution.
4. Mandatory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any withdrawal, refund or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded in your country. Where mandatory law or Paddle's buyer terms provide greater rights, those rights apply regardless of CPDTracks usage.
5. How to request a review
Email hi@dadthe.accountant using the email address on your CPDTracks account. Include your Paddle transaction number if available, but never send payment-card details. You may also request assistance through the link in your Paddle receipt or at paddle.net.
6. Approved refunds
Paddle makes the final refund decision and returns approved refunds to the original payment method where possible. Paid CPDTracks access ends when a full refund is issued. Processing time after approval depends on Paddle, the payment method and the customer's bank.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel renewal at any time through Paddle's customer portal using the link in your subscription confirmation email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and prevents future renewal charges.
